Sport on the Forest, Balmer Lawn 19.6.25

A firm favourite on the Brockenhurst Gateway calendar is our annual visit to Balmer Lawn. A huge thank you to volunteer Jane Forrest for organising this activity. Jane has been volunteering at our club since the very beginning and has regularly hosted this event. Thank you Jane and thank you too for organising perfect weather for the evening! Everyone had a fantastic time.

Lots of people joined in the rounders game. Volunteer Lorraine and member Caitlin were very happy to complete their rounder.

Football was also a firm favourite. Assistant Leader Ryan making a fantastic save!

It was great to have chip buttys served by amazing volunteers.

It’s was good to also have a chance to meet up on a lovely evening for a chat.

A perfect evening, lovely views, sunshine and a refreshing drink.

….and finally time to relax in the evening sunshine.

Everyone agreed it had been a fantastic evening and had been a great opportunity to socialise. Thank you to club leader Sarah for organising chip buttys, cakes and lovely summer strawberries and raspberries. A perfect evening!
